Can you really make money online? That has to be one of the biggest questions now-a-days. The internet is booming, so there has to be some way to profit off of it, right? Exactly. There are a number of ways to make some extra pocket change each month, without having to shell out a dime.

1. GPT (Get Paid to) sites: These sites usually consist of various offers. Some have you click on links and fill out forms with information, and pay you anywhere from $0.10 to $2.00 each. Others may just have you click links and view the site for 30 seconds, and will give you less than a penny per view. Some even have games for you to play, either to enter in sweepstakes or rack up “points”. Now this is a rough subject, because it’s honestly different for everybody. I know people who have made nearly $2000 in a month by doing a bunch of these sites. However, there’s a few problems.

First, you need to give out a lot of personal information: name, e-mail, address, phone number, etc. And trust me, they use this information. You get tons of spam mail, ridiculous telemarketer calls and junk in your home mailbox. If this is something you really want to do, though, there are ways around this. First, go to a place like http://2prong.com/ to get a free, one-time use disposable e-mail. Everytime you refresh the page, you get a new e-mail address to use for each form.

Using a different one each time will make sure your offers go through. There are also various places online that will give you a free phone number and online voice mail. Once you have that secured, download a program like CCleaner, to clear out cookies you don’t want. After completing an offer, it will go into “pending” until it is verified. Since many of the offers are from the same, or a similar, company, clearing out your cookies makes it seem as if you’ve never been to the site before.

2. Paid Surveys: Unlike GPT sites, which also claim to offer surveys (although I prefer to call them “offers” because they are very different), these sites are actually looking for your information for a reason. Said sites will e-mail you every now and then with a survey that you are eligible for. If you qualify, after completing the survey, you will be paid a certain amount – usually around $3-$5, although sometimes more. Some sites give you a certain amount of points for each survey, and points can be traded in for cash once you reach a set amount.

Sounds great, right? Well there’s one problem – they only e-mail you once or twice a week, if even that! Considering you won’t even qualify for some of the offers they send you, you’ll be lucky if you make even $20 extra a month. So how can you fix this? Easy. Sign up for multiple companies! If you’ve got 10 companies sending you surveys, you’ll probably have a new one in your inbox everyday, if not more! If may take a little while to build enough money (or points) in each account, but once you do, and cash them all out at once, it’ll seem worth it!

3. Paid Articles: If you’re reading this, you’ve probably already discovered paid articles. But let’s review anyways! If you’ve got something to say, there’s somebody out there that wants to hear it. Sites like AssociatedContent.com and Helium.com will pay for your articles – whether it’s a how-to guide, review, editorial, whatever! Associated Content pays you upfront, by offering a certain amount on each article between $3 and $20. It takes a couple days for them to make an offer, and then a couple days after that to receive payment, but they DO pay, and any article that is rejected is told why (it takes a lot to get rejected, usually only if it’s under 400 words or inappropriate in some way) and given the ability to edit and resubmit. Helium works different, by paying for page views.

Each article earns over it’s lifetime, so don’t get discouraged! After publishing your first few articles, you may not see over $0.05. However, the more you write, you more will earn. And the more you write on popular topics, the more it will be viewed. There are a number of other sites online that also pay for your articles (ConstantContent.com, Epinions.com, etc) that are certainly worth looking into. Here’s a few tips: Submit your articles as non-exclusive (meaning you retain the rights to republish it elsewhere) to each site. This way, you can submit the same article to every site you are a part of, and earn off it multiple times. Also, try creating a schedule for yourself. Do one or two articles every day, and you’ll see a good amount of pocket change in that paypal account!

4. Paid Blogging: Blogs are everywhere. You’ve probably already got one, so why not make some money off of it? Programs like Google AdSense will allow you to put ads on your site and earn money for each click of the ad. The great thing about AdSense is that it ads on your site that are relevant to the topic you’re blogging about, so it won’t be quite as annoying. Be sure not to clutter your blog with ads though, as that will likely turn away possible readers, and thus earn you less money! Do it in a creative way, integrated into your layout or in an area that doesn’t take away from your content.

5. Paid Reviews: Aside from being able to write reviews through paid article sites, you can also have companies pay you to write reviews of their products or services! If you have a blog, then you’ve got all the tools you need. Spend a few months racking up hits and ratings, and then submit yourself to websites like Reviewme.com or Blogitive.com. These sites let you list your blog so companies can find you, and pay you to write a review for them. It doesn’t have to be positive – just an honest to goodness review. Want to stand out? Do something unique with your reviews, go the extra mile, and with time you’ll see your price go up.

6. Paid Photos: Are you one of those people that just LOVES to take photos, but have nothing to do with them? Well sell them as stock photography! Many places need photos to accent their site, so they go to stock image sites (such as Crestock or Shutterstock) to get them. These sites need somewhere to get their content, and that’s where you come in! Normally, your photos will earn a set amount per download, and often that amount will increase as your downloads increase.

7. Greeting Cards: This one isn’t heard of quite as often as the others, but many greeting card companies are willing to pay for content to put inside their cards. Unlike many of the other ways I’ve mentioned, this one is definitely not constant. You could submit 20 ideas to companies, and not get accepted to one! However, if you are accepted, you could be payed anywhere from $50 to $300! So if you’ve got some little pieces or prose knocking around in your head, look up some companies (Try BlueMountainArts Greeting Cards via sps.com to start!) and submit!

There are probably a million more ways to make money on the web out there if you’re not satisfied with these – so go find them! Every website gets their content from somewhere or someone. That someone could be you! Best of luck!

How To Find Online Survey Jobs

With market research in such high demand these days many large fortune 500 companies offering good money today for online surveys.

Especially in today’s poor economy people need to know where do you find the best survey companies that won’t charge you up-front fees, and provide you with a legitimate work from home opportunity?

The good news is there are, and you’re about to find out how to tap into to this very lucrative market.

After months of tireless research and phone calls we have isolated one company that we believe to be the best of the lot.

There is a company has put together a collection of the top 10 best payers for online surveys that pay and you that you can get in contact with and start making money today.

The unusual thing about this company is that, they actually credit your account 4 dollars upfront to get started and offer you a a twenty dollar survey as soon as you confirm your email.

Go here to get paid: http://budurl.com/paymefirst

As soon as you register they put you in contact with the top 10 payers, you choose who you want to work with and none charge you fees. Now that’s true market research.

To get started and to make sure you start to get paid you must confirm your email address once you login at their site before you do anything. Nothing happens till you confirm the email by simply clicking on the confirmation link that they send you. Just do it first so you don’t get caught up in all the excitement.

Look for an email with a subject line that will look like this:

“Your Free Surveys Confirmation Required to Receive Paid Survey Invitations”

Then you get full access to your member area and you will actually see an immediate credit to your account of 4 bucks. Not a ton of money, but at least they’re paying you..

I suggest you get started immediately and guarantee your spot since we don’t know how long they will keep the upfront payment offer open. Once you get in tell all your friends.

There are many people that do this part time with the right company and bring in thousands a month.

What I’ve seen so far is the online surveys that pay well will give you $5 to $75 for a more complete survey, and with this company you start off right away with the opportunity to earn 24 bucks. And no money up front! So nothing to loose.

So, if you are looking for an honest online survey company that pays, go for it.

The real estate investing world has changed so much in the past five years. Rather than driving neighborhoods and attending hotel seminars, new investors and seasoned vets find themselves on the internet socializing and looking for deals.

Since the dotcom days of Web 1.0 investors have been skeptical about putting too much time into any given on-line technology. Free hotmail and online faxes have been the only businesses to really stick around since the early two thousands.

The new technologies have put the power back into the hands of the individual. Although big companies have booming voices backed by millions of dollars in advertising, people tend to believe the individual that reviews a product or service over the huge advertising campaign. And with large corporate entities defrauding the public on the stock exchange, who can blame them?

Are you clear about Web 2.0 and what it is?

For most people, Web 2.0 is a vast unknown with many questions and few answers. Let’s see if we can clear some of this up for you. In general it is a broad concept that covers the new user content driven websites we see like Twitter, Facebook and Myspace.

Users communicating directly with other users enables a rapid distribution of content never seen before. When a major news event happens in this generation, CNN watches Twitter for second by second eye witness reports and YouTube for cell phone videos that have been uploaded in the past few minutes. There is no longer a need to put a news crew on a supersonic jet to get the first scoop. Better yet, a few clicks of the mouse and you have CNN’s live reports coming into your website. This allows you to build followers verses strictly the big news or information sites. Your take becomes your business model.

There are so many internet strategies covered by Web 2.0 but the principal concepts are writing blogs and setting up profiles on the various social networks like MySpace, Facebook and Twitter. A few other forms of Web 2.0 marketing include link sharing with sites like Digg and Reddit and even photo sharing sites like Flikr, Photobucket and iPhoto fall under the Web 2.0 umbrella.

So what does this have to do with Real Estate Investing? Well, one obvious tactic is the sheer number of people you can now get your message across to. Whether you are buying or selling properties, marketing a product or just establishing yourself as an authority, the various Web 2.0 strategies will help create exposure for you and your business. I think you will be surprised at just how many people identify with you and start to follow your flow of information.

Establishing yourself as an expert in your market will bring tons of opportunities your way. At the end of the day, more exposure means more money. The nice think about web 2.0 is it levels the playing field once again. If you are working the internet side of things harder than your competition, you stand a pretty good chance at moving ahead of them.

Maybe you are thinking, “Great, something more to spend money on.” Hang on, that’s the best part of Web 2.0, the majority of it is free. It will take you a few hours every week to make your posts and whatnot but there is very little to no out of pocket expense. A small price to pay for an equal voice in the real estate investing world.

The better you get at creating fresh content, the less time you will have to invest to get the same effect. The nice thing about the net is after you make the data it’s out there and you will harvest rewards for umpteen years to come.

After the real estate crash people have been looking for new ways to approach the market. Even though the strategies may not be completely cut and dry, Web 2.0 and on-line social networking are the clear winners for the new direction during this changing market.

How To Find Online Survey Jobs

Market research is truly in high demand these days and many large fortune 500 companies are willing to pay very well for these online survey jobs.

Especially in today’s poor economy people need to know where do you find the best survey companies that won’t charge you up-front fees, and provide you with a legitimate work from home opportunity?

The search is complete. You’re about to find out how to tap into to this very lucrative market for free.

After months of tireless research and phone calls we have isolated one company that we believe to be the best of the lot.

This company has put together a collection of the top 10 survey companies for you to get in immediate contact with and start making money immediately via your member area.

I was shocked when I heard that this online survey job company actually credits your account 4 dollars upfront to get started and then offers you an immediate twenty dollar survey as soon as you confirm your email.

You can check them out here: http://budurl.com/paymefirst

Then you are put into contact immediately with all the right ones and you can choose who to work with and get paid. NO fees. Market research done correctly.

A word of advice here is that you need to confirm your email address immediately once you login at their site. This way they know you’re a real person. In order to get paid you have to do this and all you do to confirm is simply click on the confirmation link that they send you.

Look for an email with a subject line that will look like this:

“Your Free Surveys Confirmation Required to Receive Paid Survey Invitations”

Once you confirm you get full access to your member area and you will actually see an immediate credit to your account of 4 dollars. Not bad since they are paying you first.

My recommendation is get started immediately and lock in since we don’t know how long they will keep the offer open. Then give everyone the link you got to see how many others you can help.

There are many people that do this part time with the right company and bring in thousands a month.

You can expect to get paid anywhere from $5 to $75 for a more thorough survey, and with this company you start off right away with 24 bucks. The really cool part is no money up front! So give it a try.

Don’t wait. If you’re looking to supplement your income and do some honest work from home this looks like a winner.

The real estate investing world has changed so much in the past five years. Rather than driving neighborhoods and attending hotel seminars, new investors and seasoned vets find themselves on the internet socializing and looking for deals.

Since the dot-com days of Web 1.0 investors have been careful around committing too much time into any given internet technology. Free gmail and online faxing have been the only businesses to really stick around since the early 2000’s.

All of these new strategies have given so much power back to the individual. One person can bring down an entire organization by posting a less than positive review about a company. Funny thing is, most people trust a Joe Shmoe review over a multi-million dollar public relations campaign. Who can blame them with the amount of fraud and deceit that is perpetrated by large corporations each year.

Are you clear about Web 2.0 and what it is?

If you are like most people, Web 2.0 is this foggy new concept that leaves you with more questions than answers. In simplest form it is a broad concept that covers all of the websites that are bringing the new technology to market. These new sites allow a greater manipulation and distribution of content than ever before.

This means we now have the power to communicate much more efficiently than previously possible. Newly created content can be transferred to viewers more easily than we could have dreamed of just a few years ago. With a few clicks of the mouse you can bring in content from other authors daily without any further work on your part. Same goes for photos, videos and articles.

Let’s bring this back around to Real Estate Investing. How do you use Web 2.0 in your real estate business? First, networking is now a breeze. You build a twitter profile and people all over the planet start following you. You join a few of the REI social networks and find other investors to chat with in your area. Finding other investors with more experience can often pull you through to the next level. You can make a video of your property and distribute it to 100’s of video sites at one time with TubeMogul. The possibilities are really endless. Just like in the marketing days of yesteryear, the creative bird usually gets the worm.

Once you have determined yourself as an authority in your market, individuals will begin to contact you for available investments and prospective buys. In the end, exposure means money. Your competitor down the road may be a bigger investor than you but when a potential client Googles “real estate investing Seattle, WA” does his name show up or yours?

Maybe you are thinking, “Great, something more to spend money on.” Hang on, that’s the best part of Web 2.0, the majority of it is free. It will take you a few hours every week to make your posts and whatnot but there is very little to no out of pocket expense. A small price to pay for an equal voice in the real estate investing world.

Spend a few months creating content for your websites and I’m sure you will become more efficient and find it to be no trouble at all. Best of all, once you create the content one time it remains on the internet for years to come. Careful though, this can be a double-edged sword. Make sure you are comfortable with the entire world reading whatever you write.

After the market crash investors have been looking for other ways to approach the market. Even though the strategies may not be completely cut and dry, Web 2.0 and on-line social networking are the clear winners for the new direction during this changing market.

My Clickbank Business is presently to proceed into pre-launch stage on the 11th of August, formal release is close to the 18 Aug.

If your thinking of starting a new online business or have already started and need to raise your income level, then this course is something I would have a look at. I suppose everyone is sick of listening to reports in the media about the economic downturn and what it means in our lives, me included.

It is essential to point out that there is some categorical reports and that is, this does not appear to be making any difference to purchases made online. To the contrary, online sales are on the rise.

Although the financial outlook in these times seems dim, there are positive reports that may just be a light at the end of the tunnel. What has this got to do with me, you may ask? Well, you may want to think about having a My Clickbank Business yourself

Why you should at least consider My Clickbank Business:

In today’s business market, many people now find themselves in an increasingly precarious position with their employment. No longer can you say your job is for life and you will have a pension for sure at the end of it. You only need to look around to see that this is not only a fact, but a circumstance so many people never expected to be in.

The team at my clickbank business has a proven track record, both in earning money online with using their own methods and in teaching individuals how to use their systems to earn a living online for themselves.

You only need to look at the success of their previous product releases.

These consist of: Google Ambush, Google massacre, Google Magic Formula and their most recent release up until My Clickbank Business – Niche Socializer.

Their track record is impressive and not one that can be said for a lot of “supposed” how to make money online type products or mentors.

Why doesn’t everyone have a successful online business?

There’s no getting away from the truth that it is not that straightforward. With so much to become skilled at and so little time to study it all.

If youre lucky enough to have a full time job and you also have a family, it can be very difficult finding the time to get through all the tasks that need doing.

A few individuals manage to get so much done but pass over a number of elements or can’t follow the whole thing through the way they should.

The results could be rather substandard if the whole schedule is not done according to plan. This could mean that you only get a small fraction of the expected results, even though you could have completed 95 per-cent of the work.

My Clickbank Business could resolve this manner of difficulty for you!

I am going to be releasing a bunch of free reports and videos as it is not possible to include the whole thing at this juncture.

My advice would be to head over to the site and have a look. My Clickbank Business could just be the answer your looking for.

When starting an online business, things need to be done the right way. If not, your start-up can become a nightmare.

Here are 5 strategies to prepare for online success.

1. Take your time and watch your budget

If you are looking to get rich quick, internet business is not for you. Honestly, starting a web based business is an excellent way to make money, sometimes lots of it; however, it is not a kick back and relax while the money rolls in kind of business. It will take some time and plenty of work from you before it produces a penny. It will take some brains and motivation on your part, but it is well worth the time and sweat equity once you get your internet business going.

2. Start out with planning

Successful businesses start with successful planning. Hopes and dreams are necessary for success, but not sufficient. A traditional business requires a business plan. An online business requires keyword research, which gives you vital information about the viability of your business, market saturation, etc.

3. Create a content based website based on sound keyword research.

You can optimize your website yourself with the high-density use of relevant, profitable keywords.Use these keywords everywhere, including file names, descriptions, titles, etc. Doing so will allow you to skip hiring a search engine optimization specialist.

4. Content, content, content!

Honestly, content is what website visitors are looking for and by providing it, you will increase your chances of getting top ranking in the search engines. Five to ten page websites are a thing of the past. The more well-developed pages that you have the better your website will do on the internet.

5. The more links to your site, the better

Incoming links to your site determine its popularity as defined by the search engines. This works hand in hand with quality content and optimization from solid keyword research to propel your site to the top of the rankings. This generates what every internet business needs, free traffic.

Nine out of ten internet businesses will fail, mainly due to not following the steps outlined above. That’s the bad news. The good news is, now you know what to do when starting a web based business. Follow your dreams and be that tenth, successful internet business.

The initial steps to becoming a successful affiliate on the internet must start with a solid plan to action. The issues that new marketers usually face when searching for the secrets to marketing online is the lack of good information. Unfortunately, locating the true marketing techniques that yield results is like finding a needle in a haystack.

There are more than one way to go about searching for the keys to success online. A common way is to randomly purchase ebooks from other marketers offering the keys to unlock the internet treasure chest. There are definitely some issues with choosing that route.

One of the issues with purchasing ebooks from other marketers is the poor quality of the information provided. There a large amount of internet marketers who fake the walk in the beginning for the sole purpose of getting sales. You may find yourself going in circles before you find the proven techniques you are seeking.

Another setback with attempting to randomly buy information products from inexperienced marketers, is the high cost you will eventually accumulate. You may find yourself buying a large number of $47 dollar products before you realize that you are only being given partial information designed to keep your coming back.

Ultimately the most secure route to success online is to form an affiliate marketing partnership with a proven affiliate marketer. You must find an internet marketer with a proven track record and follow their business model. The only problem with trying to form a partnership with an already established super affiliate is actually providing something of value to offer them. That is the reason I recommend you find an affiliate marketer with a membership club that you can join.

An online membership club is an arena where you find privileged information from a proven professional marketer. Having access to the club and support will provide you with a direction instead of fishing for information everywhere on the net.

The Maverick Money Makers club is an affiliate marketing membership club started by Mack Michaels. The online club focuses on giving answers to the principles: where to market, what to market and when to market.

The importance of proper direction can play a huge role in your internet success. The ability to connect with proven professionals will take the guesswork out of your online experience. Making money on the net is directly tied into learning solid marketing techniques. If you are to make a living in this industry, you will need to seek comprehensive training.

This is a no-nonsense, to the point, guide to the major differences between the YourNetBiz (formerly MyInternetBusiness) system and the Andrew Reynolds Cash on Demand System. Hopefully this will help you make an informed decision as to which system is best for you.

So, what are they then?

The Andrew Reynolds Cash on Demand system

With the Andrew Reynolds Cash on Demand system, you are essentially being shown the following: Find a product, buy the license for it, re-brand it, prepare a sales letter, set up a website for it and then advertise the product by marketing online. The Andrew Reynolds Cash on Demand system is provided as a 12 part course. This is presented as a monthly manual, which costs about 30 per month. The course sets out to show you the “blueprint” to Reynolds’ own multi-millionaire success. After a few months, you are given the 5000 “fastrack” option, to attend an “entrepreneur bootcamp”. Those who pay this 5000 and attend the “entrepreneur bootcamp” will be spared waiting a whole year before they can begin making money.

And secondly, YourNetBiz

YourNetBiz provides you with the option to create Multiple Income Streams. Aside from marketing and selling the high ticket item, this being the complete business system, which is what all the Top earners in YourNetBiz mainly focus on; there is also a Retail Center. The YourNetBiz Retail Center includes over 2000 highly in-demand digital and physical products that you are given the rights to re-sell without additional cost. The full Training and Resources provided in YourNetBiz, including the set-up wizard for complete novices, over 700 videos and articles, and weekly interactive webinars, will help your online business to be up and running straight away. Your “back office” will help automate your sales and your Personal Business Assistant (PBA) can do all the dreaded (and time consuming) telephone work and sales calls for you. On top of all this, all those who choose to join at Platinum level, also become members of an extremely exclusive Travel Club! Let me remind you that there are other online businesses out there, that build their entire business around just this one area, global travel, alone! With YourNetBiz, this is just merely an added bonus of joining the business. The costs to join YourNetBiz range from $500 and $3000, depending on the product suite you opt for.

Which online business works better?

It’s not easy to get actual statistics on success rates for either system, but the feedback seems to suggest the following,

Some people have had great success by following the Andrew Reynolds system, a couple have actually become millionaires themselves. However, the majority seem to get disillusioned with the length of time it takes before they actually see any results and give up. Also the costs involved in purchasing resale rights for decent products to sell, prove inhibitive for many.

YourNetBiz on the other hand has produced many, many 6 Figure a year earners and also a handful of 7 Figure earners. The system makes it possible to start generating an income without much or any further investment, and ultimately it is down to the dedication of the individual how successful they will be and how quickly they will achieve this success. This system gives you everything you need to get started marketing immediately whereas, the Andrew Reynolds method requires you to build your own system first.

As with any legitimate business, they will both require effort, dedication and a burning desire to succeed, especially if you are to become a top income producer. This is crucial, especially in the beginning, the setting up period. Both YourNetBiz and Andrew Reynolds Cash On Demand, are legitimate, genuine systems for creating wealth. If followed diligently, either of these two systems could prove to be your path to financial independence.

Wishing you spectacular success, Graeme Stuart

Looking for a chance to earn more money in the comfort of your home? Do you have any opinions? Do you find it a pleasure to be able to share your opinion?

Never pay for any lists. These are the ones that offer to give you all the information you need to come into contact with sites that offer online polls. The reason is that you do not have to pay.

These lists are available totally free. You just have to do a little research. Places that ask for your money are not reputable sites anyway.

It is a ploy from marketing sites that want your information and want to charge you too. All valid companies offering online surveys are in fact free to join. Some sites only accept new members during periods of recruitment.

The first time you join the survey sites they will likely ask to fill out some sample surveys. Although they do not pay you it gives them information on your demographics. This is so the company can hook you up with relevant surveys.

Be sure to add all the companies to your accepted senders list. Do this so you do not miss out on any paid survey opportunities. Survey companies generally offer two different types of surveys, cash or an entry for a prize.

Just fill out these surveys that guarantee payment. When you receive inquiry calls, you must complete them at your earliest convenience. Many of these investigations are open only for a limited amount of time.

Survey companies generally offer two types of investigations, cash or an entry for a prize. Simply fill out these surveys that guarantee payment. When you receive inquiry calls, you must complete them as soon as possible.

Many of these surveys are open for a limited amount of time. Add survey websites to your favorites list for easy access. Once you have completed the questionnaire, you are paid, usually by check or PayPal.

Some of these surveys are available for new products that are not on the market yet so to tell about these other products could be a reason for not being able to complete surveys. Be sure to read the confidentiality clause, if any.

The advent of the internet has made working at home a reality for Millions of people throughout the world. Many of these workers still hold a “normal” job, but are able to work at home because email, video conference, and access to information and vendors via the internet are now a reality.

Other internet home business opportunities have sprouted as well and many are making good money, even fortunes, working at home. They’re completing surveys for companies, performing affiliate marketing, selling items on e-Bay, and learning how to make money in a plethora of avenues that until recently did not exist.

There are however, a group of disgruntled internet business failures. They’ve tried the part time and full blown ventures and found none of them worked for them.

Internet millions or just good part time income can be a reality for most people, but like other opportunities, some will fail and others will prosper. These seven tips may provide you with just the edge you need to make it.

Seven Keys To Succeeding At A Home Business

1. Find A Good Fit For You: You’re a distinct personality; You have unique talents; and special needs for your life. Examine the different possibilities and ask yourself if you’d be good at that opportunity and if you’d like that kind of work. Don’t be overcome by the income potential of one opportunity over another, for, if you don’t enjoy it and actually do it, then your realized income will be zero.

2. Beware Of Scammers: Along with the legitimate business opportunities there are a great deal of illegitimate offers. Like the offline world, scammers and charlatans abound. However, competition has created a safety net that most legitimate internet business education companies offer: a money back guarantee. With a money back guarantee, you’ve really taken the risk out the opportunity. Just be sure to pay with your credit card so you can dispute the charge if you do find a seller who refuses to honor the guarantee.

3. Don’t Wait! The key to success is action, and it’s assured that you won’t succeed if you don’t begin. Have you ever thought “well if this system is so good, why isn’t everyone doing it?” Well, one reason is that a surprisingly large percentage of people who buy work at home courses never take the first step towards making their dream a reality.

4. Don’t put the course on a shelf: Studies have shown that a majority of people who buy an internet course to learn a home business skill, never actually open the CD or PDF. It isn’t enough to start, you must pursue and persevere.

5. Get All The Help You Can: Lets face it, new entrepreneurial ventures can be intimidating and tough – especially if you’re starting while working your current job. One approach that works well for most people is asking for, or buying all the help they can get. Many programs offer additional resources, tools, one on one training and best of all, coaching. If you want to succeed, don’t be a lone ranger.

6. Don’t give up! You should expect that you’ll run into times of failure no matter what you do. Winners are the ones who see it for what it is – a dip, and keep on going. Most of us see difficulty as a sign that something has failed, and most of the time we’re more likely to blame that failure on something or someone else. Be persistent, keep going, and give things a chance.

7. Start Simple: Taking on a big project that requires you to build a website and hire people may be exciting, but you’re more likely to fail. Begin your work at home adventure with something you feel you can easily do, and then with that success under you belt, attack a bigger job.

For most advertising programs, your blog or website has to be a certain size before you’ll be accepted. This isn’t true for Google’s advertising program that allows anyone to make money online, so long as their website has a degree of quality to it. Spammers need not apply.

Google’s advertising program is one of the best in the world, and is open to anyone who owns and/or runs a legitimate website that provides valuable content. You make a small amount of money every time someone clicks the advertisement — this doesn’t include your clicks, of course, because you aren’t allowed to click the ads yourself.

Some niches and topics pay more than others with AdSense, because Google shows advertisements relevant to the content that you have on your website. For example, writing about debt consolidation will pay more than writing about carpet.

AdSense.com is where you can sign up for AdSense.

AdSense is NOT a get-rich scheme. You won’t get rich with adsense. If anything, you’ll get lucky and make some money, but not a lot of money. You can make a full-time income, of course, but you probably won’t get rich.

You should have other ways to make money online with your website or blog. AdSense works well with other programs, and usually shouldn’t be your primary means of monetization.

AdSense earns somewhere less than three bucks per thousand impressions for most people. I’ve had websites get literally ten times that much, but they were in super competitive niches, of course.

Of course, affiliate marketing is more more lucrative when it comes to pulling an income from your traffic, with some affiliate sales making literally thousands of times more than average AdSense earnings for that niche.

Paid survey scams are starting to become popular as more and more people are lured by the paid survey industry. Most of the times, you will find it hard to determine a paid survey scam because of the volumes of survey sites present in the Internet. Here are 6 effective tips on how you can identify and avoid scam survey sites:

1. Don’t “pay” to get “paid”. If there’s anyone who should be getting paid, it’s you, not the survey sites. When you register with survey sites, you need to be assured that the site doesn’t require any fee. If you see one that asks for any amount, move on to the next site.

2. You can easily detect a survey scam site. The websites of these companies are usually very plain. They lack the important information that people would look for immediately. Most of what you will see here are claims that they can help you earn thousands of dollars. They will also ask for your personal information, financial info, to be exact.

3. Always check the site’s privacy policy. The sites should guarantee that they will never disclose, share, or sell your personal information to any third parties. They should also give you a clear idea as to how they will utilize the information you give them. It would be best to read the privacy policy very thoroughly.

4. Don’t confuse yourself between PAID SURVEY and PAID OFFER sites. If you’re a newbie in this online business, you’ll definitely get confused with this. So remember, a paid survey site will pay you to answer surveys. You won’t have to give them their credit card info because it is unnecessary. On the contrary, a paid offer site will pay you if you try any of their non-free offers.

5. If a website promises that you can earn thousands of dollars in just a short period of time, then raise the alarm. For one, you should now that you cannot get rich instantly from doing paid surveys. These are just income opportunities where you can earn the extra cash that you need, but not high-paying enough to make you quit your office job. So if you read the lines “EARN 100 bucks by signing up,” mark that site as a scam.

6. It would help to do some research first. You can determine a scam site by simply looking at recommendations of people who have used the service provided by such sites. You will be able to get a lot of information doing this.

Finally, be vigilant. Don’t lose your common sense. Paid survey sites are great income opportunities. Just learn to avoid those scam sites, and you’re off to a good start

One of the most important aspects of blogging is writing a compelling blog post.In my opinion it is the most crucial. It does not matter if you are doing a great job driving traffic to your site,if the content is crap you will get nowhere.Fortunately you don’t need a degree to write compelling blog posts,it can be easily learned.

There are varied options for consideration in writing blogs ;focusing on fresh rich content that is well written and valuable to your readers ,reviewing various products to help buyers make informed decisions before making purchases or expressing your views and thoughts on news publications.

As I reiterated earlier, the skills for writing compelling blog posts can be easily developed, all depends on your determination and interest.Writing understandable, factual and search engine optimized content requires some guidelines and below are some few which are key to success.

* Avoid writing very long sentences and paragraphs. They usually deter readers from reading everything – bear in mind readers usually lose interest within the first 20seconds .Short paragraphs incite further reading.

* Ensure that your titles are catchy enough to attract attention but at the same time search engine optimized.

* Arouse desire – If you are promoting an affiliate product it is essential to generate a persuasive longing for that product and if it is for informational purposes only this principle is still necessary to instill a desire for continuous reading.

* Don’t take it too serious – Most readers tend to relate better to blog with a less formal tone.

* Add some humor. It is interesting how a little tickling of the humor nerve gets readers excited.

* Write like your livelihood depends on it – Let that dedication to your post be evident.

* White space is an asset.Use it It makes reading easier. Nothing is harder to read than a solid chunk of text.

* Make a copious use of bullet points. They do a good job in hammering down the salient points.

* Make use of subheadings – it makes it easier to get a gist of the content at a glance

* Choose your tone and keep it consistent throughout the blog.

* Include a desired call for action – It is important that you spell out the desired action you want your readers to take. There is always something you want your readers to do,purchase a product ,subscribe or leave a comment. A smart blogger does well to ensure that readers stick around for long and take an action.

* Always do a spell check before posting your blogs.Too many errors gives a doubtful impression.

* Eliminate any irrelevant points – They may mask the core message of your blog

* Don’t use slang terms and if necessary keep it minimal as some readers are easily offended. Use words that many would understand. Bear in mind that your readers come from diverse educational and cultural backgrounds.

* Avoid using too many abbreviations – it impairs comprehension of your post.

In making a blog to share your opinions, ideas or knowledge, your sincerity and dedication should be felt in every post. Readers do readily appreciate that.

A blog, or weblog as some call them, is simply a special kind of website. The main page of each blog consists of the most recent entries with the newest at the top. It will also usually include an archive on the side, as well as links to the authors favorite blogs or websites. They sometimes include a biography of the author, or a link to one.

Typically, each entry is simply a chunk of text, a paragraph or two, that usually includes links to other pages, audio clips, and the occasional video clip.

Unless the author has disabled them, you can also leave comments on the entries. (Thankfully you can limit who can leave comments and what they can leave.)

The verb to blog simply refers to the act of posting entries to a blog. However, the term blogosphere has come to mean the ENTIRE phenomenon of blogging – all the blogs, all the links between the blogs, as well as all the topics being written about blogs.

BLOG was Merrian Webster’s Word of the Year for 2004. This title is given to the one word searched for the most on their website. Here’s the definition:

Blog: noun [short for weblog] (1999) : A web site that contains an online personal journal with reflections, comments, and often hyperlinks provided by the writer.

So, you may be wondering what blogs are for, hmm? Most people use blogging essentially as online diaries or journals. Simply a place to post musings and record day-to-day happenings, perhaps to keep friends and family up to date.

However, many bloggers focus on online developments rather than personal ones. Their blogs consist mainly of posts about -and links to- other websites, including other blogs.

Then, there’s looking at free blogs versus paid blog hosts.

Many blog hosts will let you post your blog for free. Usually this means they will display ads on your page. Not usually a huge deal, but distracting none the less. If you upgrade to their paid account, you’ll get no ads, and extra features. This usually costs around $3 to $10 a month, but don’t be surprised when you find $30 a month accounts. Those are for majorly serious bloggers though! Try out a blog host for a few weeks, and if you like what you get, consider the upgrade, its almost always worth it if you’re serious about the blogging thing.

Blogger:

http://www.blogger.com

Blogger was launched in 1999 by Pyra Labs, and was one of the first blog publishing tools and greatly helped to popularize the phenomenon while positioning itself as the industry leader. Early success led to Google acquiring Pyra in 2003. With Google’s money and resources behind it, many of the features that were only available to paying bloggers became offered for free.

Blogger is often credited as one of the major reasons for blogging’s popularity, and for good reason. Blogger is the epitomy of easy to use while offering a huge feature set for users of all levels. Comprehensive how-to’s and help pages, moderator capabilities for group blogs, posting via Word documents, Blogger has it all. With new features being added all the time, I highly recommend Blogger to everyone. From the beginning first timer, to the person who has been blogging for years. If you’re looking for a free blog, go to Blogger!

By default, all blogger blogs are hosted on http://www.blogspot.com

BloggerBot: When Google purchased Picasa in 2004, it allowed Blogger to incorporate photo sharing with the utility Hello. Featuring BloggerBot, Hello allows you to post pictures to your blog, as well as manage and search through the ones on your PC. This is really useful for photoblogs, which we’ll get to later.

BlogThis!: This is a great, clever little tool. When you add this option, you’ll get a BlogThis! button on your web browser’s links bar. When you find something you find interesting or cool or whatever, you press it. The link will automatically appear in a mini-Blogger window, and you can add your comments then press Publish Post. The new post will go directly to your blog, and you never have to go to the Blogger website.

Word verification: By turning on this option, users can cut down on comment spam. This is a great tool, if you don’t activate it, you’re going to get a ton of great new comments. Okay, so maybe they wont be great, but you’ll DEFINITELY get a ton of them! It’s ridiculously annoying. A word verification keeps malicious software from being able to post rude or random comments to your blog automatically. It’s a great feature to have.

TypePad:

http://www.typepad.com

TypePad is the hosted alternative to Six Apart’s server-side software Moveable Type. TypePad has attracted quite a following with it’s smooth interface, rich features, and well-designed templates.

It comes with a full set of features, and will help you set up your photo albums, and automatically generates thumbnails and individual display pages.

TypePad unfortunately isn’t free, so I don’t suggest it for the beginner. I only suggest paid sites to those who know what they’re getting into, and who are sure they’ll make use of the features that require money. You can try it out for 30 days with their trial before choosing one of three membership levels. There is basic for $4.95/month, Plus for $8.95/month, and Pro for $14.95/month.

Basic:

Gives you one web-log with unlimited photo albums, category and date archives, access to a library of pre-designed templates, as well as the ability to post by email, phone, or mobile-device.

Plus and Pro: These give you the ability to host multiple web-logs and also give you access to a variety of extra tools.

They also have a Premium version now for $29.95 a month, and this is what TypePad has to say about it:

For serious bloggers who want even more. All of the control of Pro, with three times the storage and double the bandwidth. Plus, access to the TypePad Insider forum and special TypePad Insider web-events.

TrackBack: Gives you a list of those who have placed a link to your blog on theirs, and also gives you some information as to the content on the blog’s linking to yours.

TypeLists: You put in your favorite movies and music, and TypePad displays a thumbnail and a link from Amazon.com in your sidebar.

QuickPost: This is kind of like Blogger’s BlogThis! button, QuickPost puts a icon in your web browser’s links bar, allowing you to quickly post about a newly discovered website.

LiveJournal

http://www.livejournal.com

Live Journal was created in 1999 by Brad Fitzpatrick as a way of keeping his friends up to date. Since its creation, LiveJournal has grown in a big way into a hugely popular blog host and online community. In January 2005 it was purchased by Six Apart, the owner of TypePad and Moveable Type.

LiveJournal is open source, meaning that if you have the knowledge, you can tack extra fetatures on as you see fit.

LiveJournal has a very strong sense of community, making it easy for you to join and organize groups with other members, and it also has a “friends” feature. You add people to your “friends” and it alerts you when those friends post to their blogs.

The website is well organized, and allows you to search for people by region or subject.

To-do lists let you file tasks and projects, and it also has a built in password protection feature so that you can choose whether you’ll display posts to everyone, to specific groups, or to no one but yourself.

Paid LiveJournal accounts cost $3 a month, $15 for six months, or $19.95 for a year. With a paid subscription you get an emaila ccount, a personalized domain name (beautifullyhaunted.livejournal.com instead of http://www.livejournal.com/users/beautifullyhaunted) for example.

You also get advanced template customization, embedded poll tools with automatically tabulated votes, and multiple user profiles. You also get a site-tracking service that shows you how many visitors you have (and where they’ve come from) and ScrapBook, LiveJournal’s photo hosting service.

Text Messaging: LiveJournal offers a unique texting service to its paying customers. Once you’ve set it up

Xanga

http://www.xanga.com

Xanga is a powerful community and social networking tool. It’s one of the most popular blog hosts for teenagers and young adults. A free Xanga blog comes enabled with comments, a guestbook, and pages for entertainment reviews. It even has a events page. To encourage interaction among it’s users, Xanga makes it extremely easy to join blogrings and to subscribe to other users blogs. Along with comments, users can award “eProps” to posts they particularly like.

Xanga Premium starts at $4 per month and gives you more powerful versions of the tools basic users have. It also gives you additional design and customization options. Premium members can also download a complete copy of their blog in case they want to store it somewhere other than Xanga’s servers.

XTools: This is just like Blogger’s BlogThis! and TypePad’s QuickPost. Add this “bookmarklet” to your browser’s links bar and you can use most of Xanga’s editing tools without having to log in via the Xanga homepage.

There is also the option for “Moblog” hosts. The term moblogging was coined by Adam Greenfield in 2002, and is used to describe posting to blogs via an internet-capable portable device, such as a cell phone or PDA. Usually, it works like this…

Snap a picture with your camera phone, and write a few descriptive sentences for the pic. Then, email the picture and text to your blog, and voila, your blog is immediately updated. It really is that simple. A few of the possibilities for such blogging are http://www.buzznet.com (buzznet is primarily a photoblog host, but offers some of the best moblogging tools around) http://www.easymoblog.org (Open source) and http://www.textamerica.com (does a good job of making moblogging simple and accessible.)

Almost everybody has heard of twitter in one way or another. Either they use twitter themselves or they’ve heard about twitter on the news or on television in general. You can build a large network of followers through twitter. These followers can be friends, associates, clients, or even customers. This is a must read for those who are new to social networking. Twitter has really shaken up the social networking community and the web in general for that matter.

Using twitter you can create a post called tweet which is 140 characters long. I know this doesn’t seem like a lot but it’s actually quite a bit of room to get your message across. This means that the conversation will be very fast paced and let’s do what you can do to stay on top. There’s not a lot of room for idle chatter before start unfollow you.

This is different than a webpage or weblog, or even an e-mail in that the 140 character limit allows you to focus your message so that your reader understands what your niche is all about. You can also include links in your 140 character limit message, these links can go to other webpages, blogs, videos, or audio messages. Webpages and blogs are more about just giving out information so even the best blog updates itself once or twice a day. This is Web 1.0. However the social networking sites are updated every few seconds. This is Web 2.0.

If you have friends, acquaintances, or relatives that use twitter you might want to invite them to follow you. These people may not be able to help you build your business but it’s a good way to get started, it’s simple, and if you make any mistakes in the beginning, this group will be most forgiving.

Other applications include things to show pictures and send video messages with. And that’s only listing the applications that are directly related to the message in twitter. There are other applications that allow you to find like-minded twitter users easier.

One suggestion I have is that when you promote your business you should follow other experts in the field that you are interested. You should become aware of who the power users out because if they are in your field and experts in your field and others are following them it may be beneficial for you to follow them so that eventually their followers may be interested in what you are providing.

One of the biggest advantages of twitter is that you can get a large following which will help you to meet more people. An original message on twitter can be re-tweeted with the click of a mouse. In this way your message that started out in one spot in the viral on the Internet. Whenever you get a new message from somebody make sure that you reply because they do not have to follow you because it is a privilege to have a follower.

The whole system relies on treating each other with respect and decency so that the person that following you will want to continue to follow you.

For most advertising programs, your blog or website has to be a certain size before you’ll be accepted. This isn’t true for Google’s advertising program that allows anyone to make money online, so long as their website has a degree of quality to it. Spammers need not apply.

One of the best advertising networks on the Internet is Google’s AdSense. Almost every major website uses AdSense for a reason. You get paid every time someone clicks the ad, so there’s no guesswork or complicated marketing involved. Get the ad clicked, make money online.

The advertisements are relevant to the keywords of the website so the visitors are more likely to see an advertisement that interests them. Because of this, different website niches pay different levels for clicks. A website about credit cards will usually make more money per click than a website about religion.

AdSense is one of the most popular methods websites use to make money online. Sign up at AdSense.com.

AdSense is NOT a get-rich scheme. You won’t get rich with adsense. If anything, you’ll get lucky and make some money, but not a lot of money. You can make a full-time income, of course, but you probably won’t get rich.

Treat AdSense as a great compliment to your other ways of making money online — not as your primary source of making money.

AdSense earns somewhere less than three bucks per thousand impressions for most people. I’ve had websites get literally ten times that much, but they were in super competitive niches, of course.

Don’t forget, affiliate marketing can earn much, much more. If you had a 1% conversion rate selling something that gave you $100 per action, you could make a thousand bucks rather than a few bucks with AdSense.
